Sell Your Business With No Regrets.

Positioning Businesses to Sell for Higher Prices in Less Time.

If you talk to enough business owners who have sold their business, you’ll hear a common theme –

“I wish I could do it over again, knowing what I know now.”

Most business owners have regrets after they sell.

Queen Square Business Brokers, located in Charlottetown, helps PEI business owners prepare and position their business for an eventual sale.

Our unique approach to mergers and acquisitions ensures that business owners on Prince Edward Island get the maximum price for their business in the minimum time possible, all while ensuring that their legacy is protected.

Queen Square’s “Exit Advisors” have owned and managed their own businesses on PEI and throughout Atlantic Canada, and have gone through purchases and sales with their own money at stake.

Unlike traditional M&A brokers, or business brokers, who focus primarily on the mechanics of the transaction, Queen Square Business Brokers puts greater emphasis on preparation and positioning before selling your businesses. This unique approach often identifies untapped value in the business that can be realized prior to going to market, resulting in greater interest from buyers and larger after-tax proceeds for owners.

Queen Square Business Brokers brings a suite of expertise to its advisory mandates, including commercial real estate, leasing, debt and equity financing, human resources, and marketing, helping local business owners like you to sell your business.

Queen Square accepts only a limited number of mandates per year to sell businesses. Discretion is always assured.

Are you interested in buying a business?

Not all business listings appear on the website. Our clients tend to be very discreet and don’t want just anyone reviewing their numbers, or even knowing their business is for sale. To be considered for current or future opportunities, you must prequalify.

What sets Jeff Murphy apart is his experience buying and selling businesses for his own account. He knows the challenges entrepreneurs face as he owns businesses too. And I knew he had my best interests at heart when he recommended that I continue to operate Jewell’s Country Market rather than sell it, even though this would have resulted in him not getting a commission!

When we decided to sell our business we chose to work with Jeff and Bush because, being entrepreneurs themselves, we could relate to them. They don’t just advise clients, but they have regularly bought and sold businesses themselves so they had the practical knowledge we needed. When we sold we had 100% confidence that we had made the right choice. Thank you, Jeff and Bush for all of your guidance and help!
